正規母集団のもとでの平均ベクトル間の多変量多重比較法の保守性に関連して, 母集団の数が4つの場合の対比較と対照比較に対する保守性について, 未解決であった理論的証明を与えた.またデータに欠損が生じた場合の非正則データにおける平均ベクトルの同等性検定及び同時信頼区間の構成を2標本問題さらに一般のk標本問題に拡張することを考え, 分散共分散行列にある種の構造を仮定した場合の正確な検定統計量の導出と数値的反復法による尤度比検定統計量の導出に成功した.
