本プロジェクト成果の社会への還元を目指して,昨年度の成果である要素技術(中心化理論に基づく話題遷移可視化手法と関連情報提示手法)を用いた議事録閲覧支援システムSalienceGraphを開発し,学会発表した.同システムは,住民公聴会等の公的討議における長い議事録を閲覧する際の労力軽減を目指しており,Public Involvement(行政への住民参画プロセス)の円滑化への貢献が期待される.この貢献は,社会的に大きな意義がある.具体的には,本年度は以下の4つの成果を得た.1.話題遷移図の可視化による議事録閲覧労力の軽減:公的討議の長い議事録の「流れ」を把握し,所望の議論を発見するには多大な労力が必要である.この労力軽減のため,われわれは中心化理論に基づく話題遷移可視化手法を開発した.さらに,Shneidermanが提唱するVisual Information-Seeking Mantraに基づいて「流れ」の把握と所望の議論の発見を支援する議事録閲覧支援システムSalienceGraphを開発し,この成果を国際会議PRICAI-08で発表した.2.話題遷移に応じた関連情報提示による議事録閲覧労力の軽減:公的討議では多様な背景を持つ利害関係者が議論するため,背景知識が省略された場合,議論の理解のためには関連情報を調べながら読む必要がある.この労力削減のため,中心化理論に基づ<関連情報提示手法を開発し,議事録閲覧システムSalienceGraphに導入した.この成果を言語処理学会第15回年次大会で発表した.3.公的討議の分析:京大工学研究科都市社会工学専攻小林研究室との共同研究において,淀川水系流域委員会の議事録を用いた利害関係者の発言の分析を行った.4.理論的背景の確立と英語論文誌での発表:「中心化理論はゲーム理論に帰着できる」という仮説の妥当性を英語と日本語の言語データを用いて示し,この結果を英語論文誌ACM-TSLPで発表した.
