本研究課題では,2 群の母集団分布が未知で,各群においてはある種の相関構造が想定される場合に,それらの平均値または平均曲線に有意な差があるか否かを判断する方法(検定法)を開発し,それを現実のデータ解析に応用することを目的として,研究を遂行した。本研究の成果として,各群のサンプルサイズが比較的小さい場合においても,従来の方法よりも検出力の高い検定法をいくつか構築することができた。
