2007年度では、統合テキスト分析ソフトウェア「AntConc」のユーザー数は益々拡大し、ホームページにアクセスするユーザーが6万件以上になりました。また、全世界の教育施設の研究室、コンピュータ教室などでも更にインストールされ、イギリス、アメリカ、ドイツ、中国、台湾、などの国々で「AntConc」が高く評価されています。大阪大学大学院のテクニカルリーディングとライティングのプログラムをサポートするため、担当教員、野口教授(武庫川女子大学)と元担当の国吉ニルソン(現早稲田大学準教授)と度々連絡を取り、より良いソフトウェアを開発するために変更点や改善点を検討しました。また、「AntConc」について各国でセミナーを開催し、海外・国内の多くのユーザーがより効果的にソフトウェアを使えるよう指導し、更なるフィードバックを得ました。2007年度においては、「AntConc」の新バージョンのリリースに向けて導入予定の新技術を「AntWordProfiler」の新語彙分析ソフトで試しました。「AntWordProfiler」は独自のソフトであり、「AntConc」の一部の機能を発展させたものです。「AntConc」と同様に「AntWordProfiler」も既に各国の研究者の注目を集め始めていて、語彙研究で有名なPaul Nation教授の貴重なご意見を頂きながら、改善を続けています。2007年度の計画書に示した通り、「AntWordProfiler」では各言語特有のメニューやヘルプシステムをより容易に利用できるように開発しました。また、「AntConc」のメーリングリストを利用し、Haute Ecole de Bruxelles大学のプロジェクトに参加し、ソフトのインターフェースやヘルプシステムを他言語に翻訳することを進めています。
