A study of cognitive psychology concerning animated pictograms incorporating elements of Japanese sign language.

本研究旨在探讨动画符号在融入日本手语元素后，是否能提高动画符号的全面性或透明度。在实验中，参与者是不懂任何手语的大学生，使用了两种类型的动画象形图，其中一种是结合手语元素设计的，另一种是为有沟通障碍的人设计的。

The present study investigated if comprehensiveness or transparency of animated symbols would be enhanced when incorporating the elements of Japanese Sign Language. In the experiment where the participants were university students who did not know any sign languages, two types of animated pictograms were employed, one of which was designed incorporating the elements of a sign language, and the other designed in order for people with communication disorders.
