A Study on EFL/ESL Teacher Education Programs between Japan and UK : Promoting Professional Development and Reflective Practice

通过与日本和英国研究人员的合作，我可以促进职前和在职英语教师的专业发展和反思实践，并考虑有效教师教育的原则和该领域未来可能的进一步研究方向。本着理论与实践相结合的原则，我在日本国内外的各种会议上做过个人或合作的报告。我也可以就我的研究课题发表各种论文和书籍。

Through collaboration with Japanese and British researchers, I could promote pre-service and in-service EFL teachers' professional development and reflective practice, and consider the principles of effective teacher education and possible future directions for further research in that field. In light of the integration of theory and practice, I gave individual or collaborative presentations in various conferences inside and outside Japan. I could also publish various papers and books on my research topic.
