これまでの大都市近郊、中央集権的な街づくりから、地域の風土や観光資源を活かした特色のある街づくり=地域イノベーションが求められている。本研究はインターネット等の情報通信技術(ICT)を活用することで、地域住民や地方の教育機関、企業が地域の現状や問題を把握し、地域活性化を促すWebMap技術を利用した地域情報アーカイブと協同設計システムのフレームワーク構築に取り組んだ。また産官学連携事業による地域再開発のデザインプロジェクトに取り組む中でこれらの枠組みの有効性を検証し、実践を行った。

This is the city's suburbs, the center of the city's streets, the region's climate, the light resources, the characteristics of the street, the region's environment, and the environment.
