本研究によって、抗精神病薬服用中の統合失調症患者では空腹時血糖値が正常範囲にあるにもかかわらず、すでに糖代謝異常をきたしている症例が多い可能性が示唆され、統合失調症患者の糖代謝異常モニタリングはより注意深く行なう必要性があると考えられた。また新規抗精神病薬オランザピンによって惹起される持続性の体重増加予測因子としてアディポネクチン遺伝子45T/G多型が有用である可能性が示唆された. 今後は同一個体で他の新規抗精神病薬についても同様の検討する必要がある。
In this study, patients with schizophrenia taking antipsychotic drugs had normal fasting blood glucose values and abnormal glucose metabolism. The new antipsychotic drug profile indicates the likelihood that the 45T/G polymorphism will be useful in predicting weight gain factors associated with persistence. In the future, it is necessary for the same individual to develop new antipsychotic drugs.
