腹部、骨盤内悪性腫瘍に対する放射線療法は有用であるが放射線腸炎という障害をきたすことがある。本研究はマウス放射線腸炎モデルに対し、様々な組織に対し修復効果をもたらす肝細胞増殖因子(HGF)と、様々なサイトカインの転写因子であるNF-kBの活性を抑制するおとり型核酸を投与することにより、どのような改善効果が得られるかを検討した。HGFとおとり型核酸の投与により抗アポトーシス効果を示し炎症が軽減することが示唆された。
