本研究は、電気化学反応の本質を学習できる実験内容、実験キットの開発を行い、簡単に目にすることができない電子、イオン、電流の理解度を調査した。実験プログラムを腐食防食分野に関係する同大学公開講座、民間企業への出前講座の中で実践し、アンケート調査により教育効果の検証を行った。その結果、受講者の7 割程度が電子およびイオンに関して理解ができる実験教材であることが分かった。
