本研究は、行動経済学的な知見と構造型モデルを用いて、非合理的な行動の存在が知られる多様な消費者の行動を定量的に把握するとともに、実用的な政策シミュレーションを行えるモデルを開発することを目的としている。当該年度は研究計画の2年目であり、主に「新製品の購買による学習行動の構造推定と最適な新製品値下げ戦略への応用」の研究を行うことを計画として掲げ、研究を行ってきた。本年度は特に、当初の計画に加えて、推定に関連する統計学的な推定手法の研究を中心として行った。本研究の遂行にあたり、様々な統計的な問題を解決する必要があったため、これに関連する研究を行った。まず、本研究のようにマーケティングデータを扱う場合、変数の数が多く、また所得などといった変数に関しては、無回答による欠測が起こりやすい。これらの欠測がある消費者に関しては除外して解析を行うことも可能であるが、この場合使用できる変数が多次元であることから、少なくとも1つの変数が欠測する消費者の数が膨大となり、解析に際して多くのサンプルを無駄にすることになる。そこで、欠測しているデータを補完するような研究を行い、論文投稿を行った。更に、関連する統計的な手法の開発を目的として、セミパラメトリックな操作変数法に関する研究も行った。この研究に関しては学会発表（『多次元の弱操作変数がある場合のセミパラメトリックベイズ操作変数法の提案』、2017年9月統計関連学会連合大会）を行っており、統計関連学会連合より優秀報告賞を受賞した。
