若年認知症者・家族介護者を追跡し、包括的な地域生活支援方法及びプログラムを開発・評価することを目的に、若年認知症者と家族介護者のセルフヘルプグループを形成・発展させ、個別能力開発としてアートセラピープログラムを4年間実践し効果測定した。結果、本人の認知機能の変化は病因による特性(2) 感性は維持・向上(3) 家族グル-プでは、相互の相談・支援機能の向上による地域資源の活用による地域生活支援効果が認められた。
