项目摘要

「若年非正規労働者の労働組合の特質および意義に関する労働社会学的考察」という研究課題に対し、21年度はまずフリーター全般労働組合とフリーターユニオン福岡の調査を主に行った。フリーター全般労働組合に対する調査では、結成に関わった人々や現在の活動に関わっている組合員に対してインタビューを行った。そして、結成当初からの問題意識の変遷や組合の形成する運動文化、集合的アイデンティティと組合員の持つ個人的アイデンティティの葛藤のあり様などを明らかにした。フリーターユニオン福岡に対する調査では、結成当初から関わっている組合員に対し結成過程や問題意識の変遷などに関する聞き取りを行った。また、結成後に加入した引きこもり経験のある組合員に対しては労働運動に参加する動機などを尋ね、労働市場において周辺的な立場に置かれた人々が労働組合に何を求めているのかを明らかにした。そして2008年末から09年年頭において現れた「年越し派遣村」をめぐる背景を分析した上で、「『労働運動の社会運動化』と『社会運動の労働運動化』の交差-『若者の労働運動』の歴史的位置づけ」と題した論文にまとめ、『生存学』第2号で発表した。そして20年度から蓄積してきた成果を、「『若者の労働運動』の社会学的考察」と題する博士学位請求論文として提出した。一方、立岩真也・村上慎司・橋口昌治『税を直す』(青土社、2009年9月)では、「第2部第2章『格差・貧困に関する本の紹介』」を担当した。そこでは、2000年代以降に出版された格差問題や貧困問題に関連する国内外の文献500冊程度の文献を紹介した。こうした研究成果は、2000年以降の日本において重大な社会問題となっている格差や貧困、若年者の労働問題と労働運動に関して、実態と言説、マクロな変動とミクロな動向について総合的な把握を行っており、非常に重要な意義を有する。
