项目摘要

中世フランスの韻文を中心とした「トリスタン物語」諸作品の分析・読解を通じ、より立体的且つ本質的な侍女ブランジアン像を明示するに至った、前年度の成果を踏まえ、本年度の研究は、以下の2本の柱に沿って進められた。すなわち、1.中世フランス語テクストとして韻文に続く時代に属する『散文トリスタン』、また、他のヨーロッパ言語でものされた複数の「トリスタン物語」中に、引き続きブランジアンの姿を追いつつ、「トリスタン伝説」変遷の背後に潜むイデオロギーの推移や表現手法の転換と、ブランジアン像の不変と変容との係わりを検討した。2.ブランジアン以外の"侍女"たちにまで対象を広げて、中世文学の描く主従関係の表象を、現実と創作の両面から検証し、物語世界における彼女らの在と不在の意義を考察した。今後の発展的課題としては、中世以降、特に19世紀末から20世紀初頭における「トリスタン物語」再発見期の作品を、伝説の現代性という視座から取り上げ、同様の検証の俎上に載せたいと考えている。一方、前年度に行った学会発表をもとに執筆した仏語論文は査読を経て、日本フランス語フランス文学会の学会誌に採用・掲載された。また、日本フランス語フランス文学会関東支部大会においても口頭発表を行っている。本発表は、ブランジアン像についての研究がもたらすテクスト解釈の斬新な可能性を提示するものであり、メタレベルの作者の意図と結びついた、ブランジアンの潜在的機能に対する言及を補足したうえで論文化の後、学会誌に投稿される予定である。他方、本年度はフランスにおいて短期の在外研究を実施した。近年とりわけ校訂版出版や関連研究発表の盛んな散文作品に関するものを中心に、パリの複数の図書館において資料調査・収集を執り行うと同時に、上述したような研究経過に対して、パリ第3大学スキルニック教授に最新の動向を踏まえた助言を仰いだ。
