Study of social cooperation and the spread of education of "universities" in Medieval Japan

我们通过对史料的研究和整理，研究了中世纪日本的大型寺庙是如何与城市和社会合作的，以及它们对教育传播的作用。长期以来承担着再现宗教专家功能的大寺庙，被赋予了“大学”的属性。而宗教专家与城市知识阶层之间的个人关系，使得教育很容易向社会传播。

Our study is that how the large temples in Medieval Japan cooperated with cities and societies, and what they did for the spread of education, by researching and compiling the historical materials. The large temples, that had fulfilled the function of reproducing the religious expert long time, were equipped with properties of "universities". And the personal relationship between the religious expert and the intellectual classes in cities allowed the education to spread to the society easily.
