This report describes the basic architecture design and pilot applications development of a universal-design-based field museum support system (UD-FMS). By analyzing the characteristics of several field museums in Iwate Prefecture, we consider the following criteria while designing the UD-FMS: (1) accessibility and attractiveness and (2) visitor relationship management.
