In Japan there were many readers of the detective story. However in Taiwan,only police officers were detective story's readers and also creators. It was"popular literature" in Japan. But did not have many " general public "readers in the colony. This is the characteristic of colony modern times in Taiwan.
在日本有许多侦探小说的读者。而在台湾，只有警察才是侦探小说的读者，也是创作者。这是日本的“通俗文学”。但在殖民地没有多少“普通大众“读者。这是近代台湾殖民地的特点。
