Intellectual Property and Economic Development

本研究分析了知识产权制度（如，专利）与经济发展的关系，并审查真正有利于发展的适当的知识产权制度。研究课题包括：1）促进技术开发和转让的知识产权制度; 2）适合各国国情的著作权制度（特别是著作权的限制和例外）; 3）发达国家和发展中国家存在分歧的知识产权问题; 4）对中国和其他国家知识产权制度的评价。

This research analyses the relation between IP (intellectual property) system (e.g., patent) and economic development, and examines the proper IP system which is really beneficial for development. The topics covered by the research includes 1) the IP system which contributes development and transfer of technology, 2) the copyright system (especially the limitations and exceptions of copyrights) which is responsive to the actual situation of each country, 3) the IP issues on which developed countries and developing countries have conflicting views, and 4) evaluation of IP systems of China and other countries.
