Prof. Hozumi studied mainly on the German labor market and employment security. He published the thesis "German labor market and Hartz Reoform" and the thesis "The background of the German welfares state(Sozialstaat), its influence and the evaluation on this state". Prof.Kondo interested on the immigration problem and published the thesis "Korean nurse and coal miner laborer in post war Germany. One phase of the German immigration history". He studied also the change of members of the German Social Democratic Party which determined the change of this party and published the thesis "the crisis of the German Social Democratic Party----on the ground of the change of party chaiman". Prof.Kishikawa interested in the J.Harbermas' critic against the German welfare state and published the thesis "How does J.Habermass understand and evaluate the German welfare state?".

Hozumi教授主要研究德国劳动力市场和就业保障。发表论文《德国劳动力市场与哈茨改革》和论文《德国福利国家（Sozialstaat）的背景、影响及其评价》。近藤教授对移民问题感兴趣，发表了论文《战后德国的韩国护士和煤矿工人。德国移民历史的一个阶段》。他还研究了德国社会民主党党员的变动情况，决定了该党的更迭，并发表了论文《德国社会民主党的危机——以党主席变动为背景》。岸川教授对J.哈贝马斯对德国福利国家的批评很感兴趣，发表了论文《J.哈贝马斯如何理解和评价德国福利国家？》。
