We investigated the existence and contribution of anti-calpastatin antibody and correlation with antiphoshatidylethanolaine (anti-PE) antibody in serum of recurrent miscarriage. Subject group was patients with history of recurrent miscarriage and control group was healthy women with informed consent. We performed immunohistochemistry using mid-phase endometrium to investigate localization of calpain and calpastatin. ELISA was performed to measure anti-calpastatin antibody and PE-binding protein dependent IgG antibody in sera of non-pregnancy period in each group. Staining of μ-calpain and calpastatin were observed in the cytoplasm of stromal and epithelial cells in mid-phase endometrium but no significant differences were observed in staining patterns. Subject group of anti-calpastatin antibody in sera was 4.317±0.987 (U/ml) and control group was 3.373±0.653. Subject group was significantly higher than control group. There was no significant correlation between anti-calpastatin antibody and anti-PE antibody. The result provided that calpain-calpastatin system may plays important role in endometrium of recurrent miscarriage independently from anti-PE antibody-calpain pathway.

我们探讨了反复流产患者血清中抗钙化蛋白抗体的存在和作用及其与抗磷脂酰乙醇胺抗体的相关性。受试组为有反复流产史的患者，对照组为知情同意的健康妇女。我们利用中期子宫内膜进行免疫组织化学染色，以研究Calain和Calastatin的定位。采用酶联免疫吸附试验(EL ISA)检测各组非孕期血清中抗降钙素抗体和PE结合蛋白依赖抗体。中期子宫内膜间质细胞和上皮细胞胞浆内均可见μ-calain和calastatin的表达，但染色方式无明显差异。受试组血清中抗钙调蛋白抗体为4.317±0.987(U/ml)，对照组为3.373±0.653。受试者组显著高于对照组。抗钙化蛋白抗体与抗PE抗体之间无明显相关性。这一结果表明，Calain-calastatin系统可能独立于抗PE抗体-calain途径在复发性流产的子宫内膜中发挥重要作用。
