Developing Database of Languages in Southeastern Sulawesi in Indonesia

印度尼西亚共和国苏拉威西岛西南部地区有许多语言，其中许多濒临灭绝。本研究的目的是收集这些濒危语言的研究成果和材料，并从目前收集到的语言数据中汇编出一个数据库。实地调查的结果和当地出版的关于这些语言的出版物都被用来促进今后对这些语言的研究。其中一些成果已经发表在我的论文、演示文稿和书籍中。

There are lots of languages spoken in the southwest area of Sulawesi Island in the Republic of Indonesia, and many of them are in danger of extinction. The present study is aimed at collecting research achievements and materials of those endangered languages and assembling a database from the linguistic data collected by now. Findings from the field investigation and the local publication on the languages are all utilized to promote future study of these languages. Some of the results have been published in my papers, presentations and books.
