This study is aimed to clarify the spiritual authority of Byzantine emperors. By regarding Constantinople, the imperial capital, as a kind of a sacred space, it will elucidate Byzantines' behavior patterns incubating a peculiar political culture from the contemporaneous values and thought patterns. In addition, we would like to analyze how thease representations would be changed with the course of time.
本研究旨在厘清拜占庭皇帝的精神权威。通过将帝国首都君士坦丁堡视为一种神圣的空间，从同时代的价值观念和思维方式中，阐明拜占庭人的行为模式孕育了一种独特的政治文化。此外，我们还想分析这些表征如何随着时间的推移而变化。
