Many studies have demonstrated significant association between poor oral health and increased risk of ischemic cardiovascular diseases. In this study, we evaluated the association between poor oral health and silent lacuna infarction. As the results, we found no clear association between them, suggesting that poor oral health may influence on large blood vessel but not small blood vessel in the brain.
