We made an overall survey on how the physical standards of day nurseries were established in Japan. Because of ambiguousness of the standards concerning area per child, they are interpreted in various ways by local authorities. It causes reduction of nursery area per child. We compared viewpoints and numerical levels of the standards among Germany, Sweden and Japan. Finally we made some proposals for the future physical standards for day nurseries as important places children live in many hours every day.

我们对日本日托所的物质标准是如何建立的进行了全面的调查。由于有关每个儿童的居住面积的标准含糊不清，地方当局对这些标准作了各种解释。这导致每个儿童的托儿所面积减少。比较了德国、瑞典和日本的标准观点和数值水平。最后，我们提出了一些建议，为未来的物理标准的日托所作为重要的地方，儿童生活在许多小时的每一天。
