项目摘要

本年度、報告者は歴史研究の立場から、日本政府の対在日朝鮮人統治政策の淵源を形作る原因・舞台の一つとして、第二次大戦後から朝鮮戦争期にかけての山口県のポリティクスに関する研究を行った。研究は大きく三つの論点把握に基づいている。第一に、韓国統監府時代以来の日本の朝鮮支配の関係において山口県を位置づけてみた場合に、敗戦後の県の統治機構と在日朝鮮人主体との関係が、先鋭的にあらわれているのではないかというポイントである。同論点について、朝鮮総督府官吏をはじめとした植民地官吏の敗戦後の新たな国内登用という連関について、敗戦後山口県の事例からこれを明らかにした。第二に、敗戦後山口県の対在日朝鮮人統治の実践が、日本政府レベルの動向にも反映していく面が認められるのではないかというポイントである。敗戦後日本の対在日朝鮮人統治体制の形成と、地域における問題展開の動向とを有機的にとらえる立場のもと、県による日本政府への政策的勧奨の動向に着目することによって、地域における問題の動向が日本政府の全国的動向を規定し基準化させていく論点を明らかにした。第三に、米国の南朝鮮分割占領から大韓民国樹立という朝鮮分断化の情勢において、山口県のケースがいかなる影響を相互に及ぼしているかという点をGHQ/SCAP文書を利用して明らかにした。報告者は本年度の研究を通じて、「植民地支配体制」と「朝鮮分断体制」という二つのシステムの結びつきとその矛盾の展開から、在日朝鮮人史をとらえることによって、現代史研究の新たな可能性をきりひらくものとなった。
