Empirical study on the restructuring of education in the age of Decentralization : focusing on the infrastructure of the compulsory education and the teachers' professionality

本研究实证性地探讨了近年来义务教育改革与分权改革对教师专业性的影响。为此，本文在学生人数减少、教师年龄结构和地方政府财政状况等地方背景下，考察了教师专业性的重构过程。特别是教师配置与职业发展模式的变化、教师评价制度的引入和教育委员会的作用等三个问题对教师教育的影响。

This research explores empirically what kind of impact the recent reform of compulsory education have made on teachers' proffesionality, hand in hand with the decentralization reform. For this purpose, a restructuring process of teachers' proffesionality is examined under the local contexts : the decrease in the number of pupil, the age structure of teachers and local government's financial conditions. Especially paid attention are the impacts of three issues which are the changing patterns of deployment and career of teachers, the introducing of the evaluation of teachers, and the function of board of education.
