项目摘要

・2012年4月～5月雲南省紅河ハニ族イ族自治州にて実地調査を実施した。現地出身の研究者との共同調査に参加することで、クザザ(雨季の中間に行われる村落儀礼)などの儀礼についてより深い参与観察を行うことができた。・2012年6月～8月農繁期にあたるこの時期には、水田耕作についての生態学的手法を取り入れた調査を中心として行い、農作業とそれに伴う「ゆい」に似た相互扶助関係についての実証的データを収集することができた。・2012年9月～12月日中の国際情勢の不安定化に伴って調査許可の継続が困難になったことを受け、紅河学院の所在地である蒙自市を拠点として調査データの整理と文献調査を中心に進めた。11月には紅河州内で開催されたハニ研究をテーマとした国際シンポジウムにおいてハニの村落儀礼についてまとめた発表を行い、併せて論文を投稿した。シンポジウムでは、アメリカを中心としてこの数年でハニに関する歴史的研究が進展を見せていることを知り、その中心を担う研究者との意見交換を行うことができた。・2013年1月～3月田植えの時期にあたるこの季節には農耕儀礼の性格を併せ持つ村落祭祀が多く催され、また2月の春節期間には中国で全国的に長期休暇がまとまることもあって普段は出稼ぎに出ている若者が帰省しており、人的あるいは経済的な流動を主とした村落社会と外部社会の接合面を捉えなおす契機を得ることができた。これによって申請者の研究課題である「社会変化の民族誌的方法の創出」についての考察をより深化させることができた。
