项目摘要

採用三年目にあたる平成24年度は、特別研究員としての最終年度として、これまでの研究成果のまとめと公開に取り組んだ。とりわけ、3年間の目的として掲げた「少数民族」認識の多様性と重層性を教育資源分配という視点から明らかにする研究計画の最終段階として、教育市場の自由化に伴いベトナム社会における「少数民族」認識が変容した結果、人々の認識と実践にどのような変化がもたらされたのかという点を中心に調査・分析を行った。そこで平成24年度も、平成23年度に引き続きベトナム国家大学ハノイ校の協力のもと、山間部少数民族地域出身の少数民族、および多数派民族であるキン族大学生を対象とする聞き取り調査を実施した。昨年までの成果を踏まえたうえで今年度の調査では、「少数民族」に対するキン族側の認識に焦点を当てて聞き取りを行った。この結果、高等教育進学層が急速に拡大し、大学を経由した地位達成のあり方がベトナム社会に普及していくなかで、家族の生存戦略として子供を大学に進学させようとするキン族の側から、これまで「遅れた人々」として自らとの差異化を図ってきた「少数民族」に対する肯定的な再解釈がなされている、という事実が明らかとなった。さらに、家族の生存戦略としての民族籍変更という行動のあり方は、ベトナムの伝統的な家族のかたちにも一定の変化をもたらしつつあることが明らかとなった。フィールドワークで得られた調査結果の分析から、こうした姓と民族籍の変更は、女子においてより顕著であることが明らかとなった。これは、家父長制的規範において、家族のもっとも周辺部に置かれてきた女子に対する新たなまなざしの出現とも密接に関連する。賃金労働者となることで家族に現金収入をもたらしてくれることへの期待が、家父長制規範の周辺部であるがゆえによりスムーズな形で姓と民族籍の変更という現象となって表れていることを解き明かした。
