项目摘要

今年度は主に1990年代以降現在までに生じたマニラ都市圏の拡大と再編が女性労働にもたらした影響について、第一に理論、第二に統計、第三にかねてより続けてきた特定のスクオッター集落を対象とした調査研究を通じて考察した。第一に理論面では東南アジア都市論とフェミニスト経済学の文献を検討し、新国際分業下の女性労働と都市空間の変容を関連させながら枠組みの構築を行った。国際ジェンダー学会「開発とジェンダー」分科会ではフェミニスト経済学における貿易理論に関する論文の文献報告を行ない、これを近年のマニラにおける製造業女性労働の動向と関連させながら議論した。第二に昨年度より引き続き産業・労働等に関連した統計資料の収集と検討にあたり、首都圏とその周辺地域の産業別・職業別の就労構造や空間構造の変化、人口動向等を把握した。これを踏まえ近年のマニラを分析する際の大枠として首都圏外への人口流出に代表される「郊外化」という空間軸、さらに首都圏の脱工業化・サービス経済化という時間軸を立てた。第三に、首都圏の漁業・港湾地域に立地する調査対象のスクオッター集落の性格を把握するため、フィリピンの漁業・漁村に関する文献研究を実施した。また、同集落の20～60代までの女性の向都移動と都市内移動、就業経験に関する既存のデータを世代ごとに検討し、「地方の農漁村から労働力として動員された、単身での都市移住者が多い世代」と「都市の在来労働力となる世代」に大きく分類、両者の経験をマニラ都市圏における「郊外化」と「脱工業化/サービス経済化」という先の軸に沿って考察した。次に、昨年度までに集めたデータをもとに調査地のスクオッター集落の世帯の類型化作業を行った。さらに同集落の定点観測を実施し、前回の調査からの状況変化についてインフォーマントに聞き取りを行った。なお、以上の研究の途中経過については国際ジェンダー学会の全国大会等で報告している。

In the second and last year, the classification of the population was carried out. In the past, the survey of the same cluster was carried out, and the status of the previous survey was changed.
