Sociological Study of Religion on the Missionary Activities and the Translation of the Bible in Mongolia

我在乌兰巴托的教堂、伦敦大学图书馆、剑桥大学图书馆、瑞典国家图书馆等收集和分析了蒙古国传教活动和圣经翻译的史料。通过对传教资料的分析，根据社会主义前后历史条件的不同，指出蒙古族与欧洲传教士在交往方式上的差异。此外，笔者还阐明了这种接触模式与《圣经》翻译和传教活动理论的争论之间有着深刻的关系。

I have collected and analyzed the historical materials on the missionary activities and the translation of the Bible in Mongolia at churches in Ulaanbaatar, London University Library, Cambridge University Library, National Library of Sweden, and so on. By the analysis of missionary materials, I pointed out the difference of the contact mode of Mongolians and European missionaries based on the difference of historical conditions between before and after the Socialism. Furthermore I illuminated the fact that there is deep relationship between this contact mode and the controversies over the translation of the Bible and the theories on missionary activities.
