A study on the building of social capital in elementary school districts

首先，我们利用定量数据研究了社会资本对学习成绩和专业成长的影响。师生关系对学习成绩的提高有着重要的影响。其次，我们利用定性数据描述了在学区建立社会资本的程序和方法。社会资本是通过促进交流、互惠规范、信任关系而建立起来的。

First, we investigated the effects of social capital on to academic performance and professional growth by utilizing quantitative data. The ties between a teacher and students have a significant effect on the improving of academic performance. Second, we have described the procedures and methods to build social capital in school districts by utilizing qualitative data. Social capital had been building through promoting the communications, reciprocity norms, trust relationships within people of the school district.
