Development of predictive markers for metastasis in gastric cancer

我们评估了利用高转移性胃癌细胞系产生的剪接变异体建立胃癌转移预测标记物的可能性。检测94例胃癌患者外周血中ARHGDIBsv1、ALD0G4b、XAF1sv3的表达。将各变异的表达水平与临床病理因素进行比较。ARHGDIBsv1在晚期癌中表达上调，XAF1sv3在未分化癌中表达上调。然而，基因表达与肿瘤转移无明显相关性。在新的标志物开发方面，我们发现在高转移的胃癌细胞系中，分泌蛋白异构体Quiescin Q6巯基氧化酶1的表达上调。

We evaluated the possibility to establish predictive markers for gastric cancer metastasis using splicing variant developed from highly metastatic gastric cancer cell lines. Peripheral blood was corrected from 94 patient with gastric cancer and expression of ARHGDIBsv1, ALD0G4b, XAF1sv3 were measured. Expression level of each variant was compared with clinicopathologic factors. ARHGDIBsv1 expression was up regulated in advanced cancer, and XAF1sv3 expression was up regulated in patients with undifferentiated type of cancer. However, there was no significant correlation between gene expression and tumor metastasis. With respect to newly marker development, we found the up regulation of secretary protein isoform Quiescin Q6 sulfhydryl oxidase 1 in highly metastatic gastric cancer cell lines.
