英文摘要
We established in vitro culture method to efficiently derive multipotent neural stem/progenitor cells(NS/PCs) from non-human primate, common marmoset embryonic stem cells(ESCs). These marmoset ESC-derived neurospheres could be passaged repeatedly and sequentially gave rise to neurons and glial cells, including both astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. Importantly, marmoset ESC-derived NS/PCs could generate functional neurons, and showed closer expression profiles to fetal brain-derived neurosphres by repeated passages. Thus, this culture system is applicable to derive donor cells for allograft transplantation into marmoset models.
