Conservation studies on the painted chamber of the Toraduka Tumulus in Ibaraki Prefecture

我们已经确认了虎冢古墓的壁画有了很大的变化。红色素部分浓缩，图像模糊不清。我们认为，造成这种现象的主要原因是石室石壁的水环境。因此，我们检查了墙的几个部分的水状况。同时，我们也在尝试通过一些试验来重现实验中使用的苯乙脒，并通过紫外线杀菌，清理保存设施，我们的研究和实验还没有完成。我们将在明年继续进行。同时我们也不断的对设备进行消毒和清洁。

We have confirmed the bad change of the paintiongs of the Toraduka Tumulus. The red pigment of that were condensed partilly, so the images of them were blured. We thought that the main cause of that should be the water circumstance of the stone wall of the chamber. So we examine the water conditons of the wall at several parts. And also, we have been trying to reappear that phenopminon experimentally using by some test-peaces.And we killed the moulds and bacteriums by UV rights, and clening up the conservation facilitiy.Our researches and experimentations are not finished. We will continue them in next year. And also we contimue to sterilize and cleaning the facility.
