Basic Study on Sharia and Modernity: Comprehensive Study on the Ottoman Civil Code

我们每年定期举行九次学习会议（最后一年举行四次），并审查奥斯曼民法典（Mecelle）的阿拉伯语文本。最后，我们终于完成了《销售之书》的翻译。第101-403条)及《租务及租赁书》（第101-403条）。404-611)译成日语。我们完成了《梅塞勒》全文的三分之一。我们还对与梅塞勒有关的各种文字的文本、评论、专著和文章进行了调查，并通过购买、复印和其他方法收集了一部分。我们制作了Mecelle文本阿拉伯文版本的电子数据，并利用它来改进我们的研究。我们做了一些关于在阿富汗和马来语中改编Mecelle的研究报告。

We held study meetings nine times regularly a year (four times in the final year), and examined the Arabic text of the Ottoman Civil Code (Mecelle). In the end, we finally finished translating the Book on Sales (art. 101-403) and the Book on Hiring and Leasing (art. 404-611) into Japanese. We completed one third of the whole text of Mecelle.We also carried out investigations into texts, commentaries, monographs and articles related to Mecelle in various languages, and collected a part of them by purchase, photocopying and the other methods.We made electronic data of the Arabic version of Mecelle text, and improved our research by its use. We had some research presentations on adaptation of Mecelle in Afghanistan and Malay.
