Development and proposal of evaluation method of oral mucosal damages based on the degree of injuries and atrophy of oral mucosa and saliva properties

为了预防老年人的口腔问题和癌症治疗的副作用，在评估口腔粘膜损伤和萎缩程度的基础上，开发了新的口腔粘膜诊断方法和预防治疗系统。为此，我们利用超音波感测技术建立口腔黏膜触觉诊断装置。 利用该装置和传统的口腔环境评价系统，对口腔粘膜损伤的症状进行了分析，客观评价了口腔粘膜的损伤程度，为临床应用提供了依据。 根据这些结果，讨论了维护口腔粘膜健康的全面管理计划。

Novel diagnostic method and preventive treatment system of oral mucosa had been developed based upon the evaluation of the degree of injury and atrophy, to prevent oral problems of the elderly and side effects of cancer treatment. For this purpose, we established the haptic diagnostic devices of oral mucosa with the technology of ultrasound sensing. Using this device and conventional evaluation systems of oral environment, we analyzed the symptoms of injured oral mucosa, and objective estimation of damage on oral mucosa had advanced to utilize for the clinical applications. Based upon these results, total management plans to maintain the health of oral mucosa were discussed.
