In order to deal with new needs from wider applications in elementary particle and nuclear physics, cosmic-ray studies, research in atomic power plants, neutron radiography and muon radiography , we performed a basic study to add functions like high sensitivity, high resolution and low radioactive background to the nuclear emulsion detector which has been a kind of original technology of Japan by using original nuclear emulsion gel production system.
