シュジェールの文書についての読解をすすめると同時に、シュジェールや同時代人たちの祭儀とそれにまつわる装飾観について、当時の資料を参照し、研究を進めた。加えてビザンツから擬ディオニュシオス文書がどのような形でパリへと伝播したのかという点について、主に翻訳史と祭儀における聖歌について着目した研究を行い、それを早稲田大学の中世ルネッサンス研究所にて発表した(6月)。またシュジェール研究の現在の世界的状況についてのまとめを、西洋中世学会にてポスター発表し(同月)、意見交換や幅広い交流の場を得た。8月から9月にかけて、イル=ド=フランス及びノルマンディ地方のゴシック建築群、またクリュニー修道院をはじめとしたブルゴーニュ地方のロマネスク-ゴシック過渡期における修道院建築/思想についての実地調査を行った。またそれと並行して、先の「祭儀」と「装飾」の関係性を中心とし、パリにて資料収集を行った。同時に、先年度に教父研究会にて発表した、サンドニ修道院における擬ディオニュシオス文書の受容とシュジェールのテキスト分析について資料等で補完し、雑誌『パトリスティカ』にて発表した。また12月には教父研究会・上智大学共生学研究会が共催する三日間にわたるシンポジウム「闇-超越と認識」の企画、運営をおこなった。3月には彼の同時代人であるクレルヴォーのベルナルドゥスの「清貧」に対する思想との対比について、単に「財貨」の問題だけではなく、そこには「祭儀」をそのようなものとして見るかについての違いがあったのではないか、と仮定し、原典と補助的な先行研究に基づいた研究を進めた。その結果については、美学会東部会にて発表、意見交換を行った。
