本研究は、カンボジア農村社会における稲作をめぐる人々の経済的実践(贈与、売買、相互扶助、貯蓄)の変容に関する研究である。具体的には、コメの生産、流通、消費課程に関するフィールドワーク(聞き取り調査、参与観察、文献調査)を行い、NGOによって農村社会に導入された有機農法を中心とした新農法、SRI農法とそれがもたらす社会関係の変容に着目し、コメをめぐる「経済」の場の動態的な把握を試みることである。具体的に次の2つの点を中心に研究を進めた。①国内の学会、研究会における成果発表 : 国内においては、これまで(2009年～2013年)にカンボジア王国タカエウ州にて行った調査で得られた一次資料の整理を行った。その成果は、日本文化人類学会、カンボジアで実施されたIDE-JETROのセミナーにおいて発表し、現在は、学会発表における議論も含め成果を投稿論文や研究ノートとしてまとめ国内外の学会誌等に投稿する準備をしている。②現地調査 : カンボジアにおける現地調査は、2013年6月～7月(32日間)に実施。フィールド調査の具体的な内容としては、コメをはじめとする農作物の売買、日常的な経済的実践の変化についてインタビュー調査を行った。また現地の王立プノンペン大学人文社会学部、商業省、農業省、調査地域の地区(クムkum)、村(ブームphum)長に調査の前後に調査に関する相談、調査結果報告を行った。プノンペンにおけるセミナーで報告発表をした際には、プノンペン大学教授、クメール人研究者、商業省の役人からは、多くの研究者を受け入れても調査内容のフィードバックが少ないことから、調査の前後における相談、フィードバックを実施したことに対し感謝されると共に、調査内容がカンボジア社会にとって重要な課題でもあるにも関わらず、議論される機会が少ないことから今後も本テーマに関する調査研究を継続して欲しいとのコメントをいただいた。長期にわたる内戦の影響から、カンボジア農村社会における開発援助の影響に関する地域研究の蓄積はまだ不足している。本研究内容に関する学会発表、アウトリーチ活動ならびに現地の大学、中央省庁、地方行政と協働、フィードバックは、総合的観点から初年度の成果として一定の意義を認めることができる。

This study aims to explore the relationship between the social development of rural areas and the social development of rural areas. The concrete aspects of production, circulation and consumption courses are related to the implementation of organic agricultural law, the introduction of new agricultural law and SRI agricultural law into rural society, and the dynamic control of social relations. The content of the survey is important to society. The accumulation of regional research on the impact of long-term development assistance on rural society is insufficient. This research content is related to the development of the society, its activities, local universities, central provinces, local administrative cooperation, government agencies, and integrated research. The results of the first year are of certain significance.
