项目摘要

2015年度に行った研究の概要は下記の通りである。①最初期のフーコーにおける技術の問題2015年度の前半には、初期フーコーにおける技術の問題を検討し、とりわけ彼の最初期の論文の一つで技術を論じた『カントの『人間学』序文』の分析を行った。ところが同書において、技術と言語を本質的な要素とする人間学は、あくまで批判の対象にすぎなかった。実際、彼はカントの批判（認識主体の「外」にある物自体の想定）が、後の実用的人間学と超越論哲学の試みによって解消されたことを批判している。それゆえ、この「人間学的円環」に対する批判を、フーコーは認識のア・プリオリな構造を再浮上させることに求めていた。かくして、技術にも言語にもよらない「外の思考」が最初期のフーコーによって展開されていたことを明らかにした。この研究成果は、日仏哲学会春季大会にて、"Kant contre le kantisme : Foucault lecteur de l’Anthropologie"と題して報告した。②知と技術と関係の解明上述したように、フーコーにおける「技術」固有の考察は初期の著作には見られなかった。そこから、2015年度の後半において、彼の技術に対する考察の「起源」を辿る作業に従事した。そこで「規律の技術」を論じた『精神医学の権力』の前後を特に検討した。その結果、言説間の闘争としての「知への意志」の議論と、後の「規律テクノロジー」に関する議論とがフーコーの中で密接に連関していることが判明した。彼によれば、諸言説の闘争は規則性を持つ。この闘争がもつ規則性は、諸事物（物）を対象とした規律技術と相関的であるという。実際、フーコーは精神病院の例を引き、諸事物の配置の規則性と、精神医学の言説が有する規則性との関係を強調する。この研究によって、先行研究が従来着目してこなかった知と「規律」の関係を明確にすることができた。
