本年度は、意味と対象をめぐる現代哲学の諸問題に対してハイデガー哲学の側からどのような具体的提言がなしうるかという問題について、これまでの研究をさらに進めつつ、全体を取りまとめる作業を行った。先ず、ダメットの現象学批判に対するハイデガーの側からの可能的応答について、引き続き検討を進めた。この作業を通じ、ハイデガーの言語観の関連する諸特徴を明らかにすると同時に、それに潜在する意味論の概要を再構成し、これをダメットの立場と親和性の高いフレーゲ的な性格のものとして捉え直すことができることを示した。これにより、ダメットの批判がハイデガーにはそのままの形では当てはまらず、むしろ両者の立場には複数の面において親近性があることを明らかにした。これと関連して、大陸哲学と分析哲学の歴史的な分岐をめぐるジョスラン・ブノワの研究との関連におけるハイデガーの立場の闡明を進めた。具体的には、ブノワのハイデガー解釈が彼の特徴的な志向性解釈の延長線上にあり、これによってハイデガー哲学を言語哲学と親縁的なものとして捉えようとするものであること、また意味と存在の関係をめぐってブノワに見られる不明瞭な点について、ハイデガーが存在論的・時間論的な観点から解明の方途を提供していることなどを示した。また、ハイデガーにおいて重要な位置を占め、メタ哲学的諸問題とも密接に連関する歴史性と有限性の問題系が意味論にとって持つ含意について、米国の関連する諸議論等を踏まえて研究を進めた。これを通じて、有限性の問題との連関において見られるならば指示の因果説等において示唆されてきた意味の歴史的性格が、歴史的研究が意味論的な諸問題にとって従来一般的に理解されてきたよりも大きな重要性を持つということを帰結する可能性を示すことができた。
