ミツバチの餌場選択から選挙制度に至るまで、人間や人間以外の動物は様々な場面において群れや集団を組織し、そこで重要な意思決定を下している。近年の生物学・情報科学では、集団意思決定の適応的な機能についての関心が急速に高まっており（Kameda et al., 2012）、そうした研究は“集合知”という言葉で論じられている。集合知とは「2人以上の意見を集約すると、単独の個人よりも優れた判断が導き出されること」と定義される。本研究課題の目的は、集団意思決定場面における集団のパフォーマンスと個人の行動戦略に着目し、集団意思決定が適応的に機能するためには、どのような条件が満たされなければいけないかを実験的手法によって検討することである。以下に、本年度の研究遂行結果を述べる。【実験室実験の実施】機械的集約ではない話し合い場面で、集約プロセスは実際にどのように働くのだろうか。合意が求められる集団場面において集約プロセスが集団のパフォーマンスにどのように影響を及ぼすのかという問いを、実験室実験（n=80）により検討した。実験で得られた結果は、学会、投稿論文等で発表する予定である。【国際共同研究の実施 & 国内および国外学会における研究成果発表】フランス研究チームと共に27年度に行った国際共同研究の追試実験を行った。具体的は、オンラインアンケートサービスQualtricsを利用し、北海道大学の学生117名を対象に集合知に関するアンケート調査を実施した。この国際共同研究で得られた結果は、国際学会などで発表され、現在国際学術誌に投稿中である。また日本社会心理学会第57回大会、日本人間行動進化学会第9回大会、EHBEA2016や31st ICPにおいてこれまでの研究成果を発表した。これらの研究は、投稿論文で発表する予定である。
