単調欠測データに対して(I)平均ベクトルの尤度比検定，(II)平均ベクトルのT^2型検定に取り組んだ．(I)については，1標本問題や多標本問題について，昨年度テクニカルレポートとしてまとめ，投稿していたものが，査読者のコメントによる修正等を経て，今年度，学術雑誌に採録済み（1標本問題）及び採録決定（多標本問題）となった．(II)はT^2型検定統計量に関するものである（完全データの場合，ホテリングのT^2検定は尤度比検定であるが，単調欠測データの場合のT^2型検定は，尤度比検定ではないため，議論した）．1標本問題について，昨年度学会にて，k-step単調欠測データの下でのT^2型検定統計量の帰無分布に対する上側パーセント点の漸近展開による近似等を提案した．これは，T^2型検定統計量をk個の統計量の和として表現した際に，個々の統計量が，サンプル数を無限大とした場合に独立になるという性質を利用した近似である．今年度は，2-step単調欠測データの場合ではあるが，「相関を考慮した」漸近展開による帰無分布を導出し，その近似上側パーセント点等を与えることに成功し，その成果を学会にて口頭発表した．また，この結果をまとめ，学術雑誌に投稿後，採録決定となった（これは，ポーランドの Zofia Hanusz 教授との共著論文である）．さらに，この結果を2標本問題へ拡張することを試み，その一部の成果を学会にて口頭発表した．これらに関連する研究として，単調欠測データの下での「成長曲線モデルにおける推定問題」や「一様共分散構造を仮定した場合の平行性仮説検定問題」についても，共同研究として取り組んだ．これらの研究についてもいくつかの成果をあげることができ，学会にて口頭発表した．
