项目摘要

本年度の研究課題遂行状況はほぼ計画の通りである。具体的な成果として、論文１「『唱導資料と説話集　―説話引用の在り方をめぐって―」(『学芸国語国文学』第49号、平成29年3月掲載)、論文２「『打聞集』論」（『国語と国文学』第94巻第6号、平成29年6月掲載予定）を執筆した。論文1では、説話文学と密接に関連する唱導資料を調査対象とし、唱導資料内ではどのような形で説話が引用されているかを分析・考察し、説話集における説話引用との差異を明らかにした。具体的には院政期の唱導資料に範囲を限定し、語り手が残した資料として『言泉集』『弁暁説草』『諸事表白』『三国伝灯記』を、聞き手が残した資料として『法華百座聞書抄』『覚鑁上人伝法会談義打聞集』を取り上げ、説法の場で説話が典拠からどのように切り出され、語られたのかを解明したものである。論文２では、論文１で明らかにした唱導資料における説話引用の特徴を基に、唱導資料か否か議論されている『打聞集』について、その説話引用態度の観点から本作品の生成の経緯を明らかにした。『打聞集』の収められた説話の形態や引用方法、また選ばれた説話の種類やその典拠などの点から、本作品は唱導資料ではなく、説話集の草案として生み出された可能性を指摘したものである。これらの論文では、個々の作品における説話受容の方法を明らかにすると同時に、従来線引きが曖昧であった唱導資料と説話集という二つのジャンルに対し、院政期の人々が明確に別個の存在として認識していたことを明らかにしており、本年度における課題を果たしたものと考えている。
