项目摘要

モンゴル国の首都ウランバートル市スフバートル地区にある11の公立小学校すべての4年生を対象に、高強度インターバルトレーニングの理論に基づいた運動介入プログラムが学力に与える影響を検証するためのクラスターRCTを実施した。11の小学校の1つをパイロット調査のフィールドとし、実施方法の確認・検証をおこなったのち、残りの10の小学校を介入群と対照群に無作為割り付けをおこなった。割付に際しては小学校が所在する地域の影響を考慮したブロックを用いた。2018年2月からベースライン調査のデータ収集をはじめ、4月から6月、夏休み明けの同10月から11月の計4か月間にわたって運動介入プルグラムを実施した。介入群では体育の時間の冒頭に週に2-3回の運動プログラムを実施し、対照群では通常の体育の授業を実施した。運動介入プログラムは4つのパートからなる約3分のプログラムで、各動作を正しく、より効果的に実施することを目的としたキューイングを入れた。各動作を子どもたちに適切におこなわせるために、トレーナーへの研修をおこなうとともに、定期的に実施状況を動画で共有し、トレーナーに対する助言・フィードバックをおこない、介入プログラムの質の維持に努めた。主要評価項目を学力（市が実施する統一学力テスト：モンゴル語と算数の2教科）とし、副次評価項目として、体力テスト（反復横跳び・20mシャトルラン）、認知機能（iPadを用いたフランカーテスト）、メンタルヘルス（SDQ）、身体計測値などとした。最終的に2354人からデータが収集された。
