コロナ禍で社会活動が制限され、企業との産学連携も思うようにならない状況にありながら、簡便な方法により複製古典籍を製作し、それを用いて6月（招待講演）と12月（学会発表）に、主として書誌学的な見地から研究成果を公開した。前者は、人間文化研究機構国文学研究資料館創立50周年記念式典において、招待講演「ほんの枕を―古典籍の『もてなし』『あひしらひ』から―」と題し、宮内庁書陵部蔵の寂蓮「少輔入道百首」の複製古典籍を、原本所蔵機関の許可を得て独自に製作し、該本の現在の状態がどのような過程を経てもたらされた結果であるのか、明らかにした。専門業者に依頼して動画を制作し、国文学研究資料館の専用YouTubeチャンネルから世界に向けて配信を行った。後者は、和歌文学会第140回関西例会（12月例会）において、「鴨長明『無名抄』その原態と流布―鎌倉期和歌史のために―」と題して研究発表を行った。『無名抄』は鎌倉時代に遡る古写本が比較的多く残っており、異本と呼ばれるような伝本はない。書入により成長したり改編されたりすることの多い歌学書としてよりも、本文の内容が読み物として十分に面白く和歌説話的な随筆として受容されたからであろう。ただし、章段見出しには異同が見られ、特に冒頭部の有無の違いは特徴的で、その相違が如何にして生じたかは、原本の形態を推定することで明らかになると考えた。現存諸本には巻物（巻子装）のかたちをとる古写本はないが、最古写本である綴葉装（列帖装）の東京国立博物館蔵本（梅沢本）の画像データをカラー印刷し、一巻の巻子装に仕立ててみると、こうした疑問は氷解することを実証した。公的機関による貴重な資料が、所蔵機関により著作権フリーのデジタル画像として公開する動きがますます顕著になっている。オープン化されたデジタル・データを活用することで、研究の深化と成果の公開を実施した。
