项目摘要

本研究は、アメリカのリーディングプログラムの実践モデル及び文献を検証し、新たなリーディングアプローチを探ることを目的としている。昨年度の研究計画見直しの通り、当該年度は直近5年間のアメリカとイギリスのyoung adult literature 部門受賞作品を対象として当該年度分をさらに追加した。コーパス化でyoung adult literatureの明確な文学的特徴を捉えることが困難であったため、言語的・文体的分析項目に当てはめた「語彙範疇」の分析を高頻度語から調査し、作品を横断的に分析することで出てくる言語的逸脱語をyoung adult literatureの文学的特徴を表す語とする「文彩」の抽出を進めている。国立国会図書館支部図書館の国際子ども図書館でyoung adult literatureをめぐる英米の歴史的背景を調査した。図書館等で実施されているリーディングプログラムとのつながりについてはまだ不足しているため、現地調査の実施で検証を計画している。国際学会で発表が受理されたが円安やウクライナ情勢からヨーロッパ開催の不安定な要素により、次年度へ持ち越しとした。研究成果を挙げることができなかったことで次年度へ再延長する判断に至った。社会人を対象とした所属大学の公開講座でyoung adult literature部門の受賞作品を扱い、語学的要素の理解を考慮した多読授業の展開を試みた。
