项目摘要

2022年度は、研究計画に従い以下の二点を中心に研究を進めた。１）シュルレアリスムにおける展示をめぐる言説と理念を批判的に再考察するため、同時代の展示をめぐる言説と理念を概観し、シュルレアリスム美術の展開における本テーマの広がりを再考した。この成果の一つとして、グラスゴー大学のシュルレアリスム研究者らと行ったワークショップで口頭発表を行い、議論を深めた。また、研究分担者（進藤久乃）は、ブルトンのテクスト（美術批評、自伝的レシ、詩作品）から展示論を抽出し、ポエム・オブジェとの関連など多角的な観点から考察を進めた。研究協力者（長尾天）は、口頭発表および論文において、街路としての展示空間をシュルレアリスムという問題系にどのように位置づけることができるのか、シュルレアリスムの展示空間を包括的に捉えるための理論的・理念的モデルを示した。２）いくつかの事例の展示空間と印刷空間について、作品・イメージの取捨選択や構成論理等から互いの構造的関係を分析した。特に、1938年のシュルレアリスム国際展に際して刊行された『シュルレアリスム簡約辞典』（アンドレ・ブルトン、ポール・エリュアール編、パリ、ボザール画廊、1938年）の構成を分析し、掲載された図版と展覧会出品作を同展目録や一次資料等を参照しながら比較考察を行った。その成果の一部は今年度執筆した論文に反映されている。研究分担者（長名大地）は、展覧会研究において、展覧会カタログや展示プランを含む史資料や記録、アーカイヴズとどのように向き合うのかについて、一つの実践的研究として展覧会に結実させた。この成果は、展覧会研究における重要なテーマのひとつである「再演」の問題や、最新のテクノロジーを用いて過去の展覧会を再構成する際の問題などを実践的に考察するものであり、シュルレアリスムの展覧会研究においても有意義な議論の契機となった。
