项目摘要

本研究は、北前船ルートに広域的に分布する「目連尊者地獄巡り説話」系盆踊り歌をめぐって、17世紀末から18世紀初頭以降の海のルートによる継続的な物と人間の往来に伴う「知」としての民俗芸能の往来と各地での構築を明らかにし、共同体ベースの参加型研究を通じて地域文化と人々の再接合をし、各地域が抱える複合的問題の解決への道筋を見出すことを目的とする。（1）民族音楽学、民俗芸能研究、海運史などの文献資料収集と整理（1年目～）、（2）対象地域におけるフィールドワーク（1～3年目）、（3）共同体ベースの参加型研究（2～3年目）、（4）広域の再接合（3～4年目）、（5）研究の取りまとめと成果発表（4年目）の5段階からなる計画を立てている。1年目にあたる今年度は、『復刻日本民謡大観』等から「目連尊者地獄巡り説話」系盆踊り歌を抽出し、それらの分布を日本全国の北前船寄港地および昆布密貿易ルートと照合すること、各地の図書館や資料館、現地関連機関等で、琉球列島から北陸に至る島嶼地域を中心とした念仏系歌謡や海運史等の文献資料収集に着手し始めた。具体的には、北陸地方（南砺市立図書館、鳥越一向一揆歴史館など）、愛媛県立図書館、沖縄県内離島（沖縄県伊平屋村の歴史民像資料館）、奄美群島（与論町立図書館など）で、「目連尊者地獄巡り説話」に関連する盆踊り唄や「与論十五夜踊り」などの民俗芸能に関する文献および映像資料を得た。また、富山県南砺市および愛媛県松山市の離島部訪問に際しては、対象地域の共同体との関係づくりに向けて、関係者との交渉を行った。

This study focuses on the distribution of the northern front ship and the southern part of the country. The "Mulian Venerable Hell Tour" is a basin song. At the end of the 17th century, the beginning of the 18th century, the people of the world came and went together with the "knowledge" and the "folk culture". The construction of the community is a participatory study. The solution of the problem of each region is to see the purpose of the problem. (1) Collection and arrangement of literature data on ethnography, folklore and energy research, shipping history (1 year ~),(2) regional research (1~3 years),(3) participatory research on community research (2~3 years),(4) re-integration of cultural fields (3~4 years),(5) research achievement development (4 years), and establishment of a five-stage project. At the beginning of this year, the songs of "Venerable Muren's Speech on Hell Patrol" such as "Re-engraved Japanese Folk Songs" were extracted and distributed throughout Japan's Kitamae Ship Terminal and Khumimi Trade Port. This year, libraries, databases, local related agencies, etc. in various places have begun to collect literature and data on the central island region of the Ryukyu Islands from the Hokuriku to the Ryukyu Islands, including folk songs and shipping history. Specific information about the Hokuriku region (Nanli City Library, Torogoshi History Museum), Ehime Prefectural Library, Okinoshi Uchijima Island (Okinoshi Ihiraya Village History Museum), Amami Islands (Onomachi Library),"The Visitor of Hell" and "On the 15th Night" were obtained.
