项目摘要

当該年度において、研究実施計画からは一部変更があったものの、研究はおおむね順調に進展している。まず、令和5年度に行う予定であった「宗教的情操」に関する先行研究の整理、および「自然宗教的情操」についての検討を先に行い、その成果を盛り込んだ形で、「いのち教育研究会」定例会での報告を行った。報告内では、関係のなかに「いのち」が成立するとみる先行研究や、垂直軸・水平軸の二軸直行モデルから「いのち」についての教育のあり方を考え、そこでは、「いのち」に関わる、ある「暮らしの関係」「現実の関係」にすでに意識的に入っている大人の役割が重要な意味をもつことを指摘した。この成果からは、「生命や自然、崇高なもの」を学校教育（とくに道徳科）のなかで扱う際に、教科書を通じて、各自のこれまでの経験に基づいた議論を行うだけでは不十分であり、すべての児童生徒に、そうした次元を含む現実の関係の経験を提供する必要があること、またその際、その関係のなかに招いてくれる、実際にその関係を生きる大人の存在が必要であることが示唆された。また、当該年度において、本研究の主要テーマである修験道について、修験者として現在も修行を続ける方に研究協力者に入ってもらうことができた。研究協力者とは、上記の成果を踏まえた打ち合わせを行い、令和5年度の6月に、日本ホリスティック教育/ケア学会の研究大会でラウンドテーブルを行う予定である。この場では、当該年度に得られた視点について、修験者の自然や崇高なものとの関係という視点から深め、道徳教育へのより具体的な提言につなげられるよう試みる。
